ProAbout these tools
Half of these are about writing: counting it, checking how it reads, converting its case or its markup. The other half are about rescue — getting text out of a spreadsheet or a photograph so it can be edited instead of retyped.
Frequently asked questions
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The text tools run in your browser, which matters because the things people paste into them tend to be drafts, exports and API responses.
Can I get text out of a scanned PDF?
Use PDF OCR, under PDF Tools, to give a scanned PDF a searchable text layer. For a single photograph of a page, Image to Text (OCR) recognises the words directly.

18 tools PDF ToolsEverything for the PDF itself — joining files and taking pages out, making one smaller, stamping, redacting and locking it, and converting it to and from Word, Excel and images.
13 tools SEO ToolsThe technical side of getting a page indexed and shared properly: the tags that decide how it appears in results, the structured data behind rich results, and the files crawlers read before anything else.
8 tools Developer ToolsThe small utilities that come up mid-debug — reading a token, testing a pattern, generating identifiers, tidying a query — without pasting anything sensitive into a stranger's server.
9 tools Social Media ToolsTools for the part of posting that is fiddly rather than creative — hitting each platform's dimensions, staying inside its character limits, and getting a thumbnail or a still that actually works.
9 tools GeneratorsTools that make something from nothing much: a QR code, a password, a favicon set, a colour scheme, a font pairing, or speech from a block of text.
7 tools CalculatorsEveryday arithmetic that is easy to get slightly wrong: percentage change and reverse percentages, an exact age, a loan repayment, a unit conversion, a meeting time across three countries.
6 tools Video & Audio ToolsVideo and audio handled in the browser itself, with ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly — so a large file is never uploaded, and there is no queue behind other people's jobs.
