Lottie Optimizer

What is Lottie Optimizer?

HubToolify's Lottie Optimizer makes a Lottie file smaller while it draws the same thing, so pages and apps load the animation sooner. It suits developers shipping Lottie on websites and in apps and designers whose exports come out heavy. Numbers are rounded to three, two or one decimal places for positions and sizes, while colours, gradients and easing always keep three; keyframes that never change become still values, redundant keys in the middle of a hold are dropped, hidden layers and shapes and unused assets are removed, and layer names and editor data are stripped unless the file uses expressions, which need them. The result is not taken on trust: five frames of the original and the optimized file are drawn by the player and compared pixel by pixel, and the tool says whether anything visibly changed. It shows the original size, the optimized JSON and the size as a zipped .lottie, and saves either. Files up to 8 MB are processed in the browser and never uploaded. It is free.
