Why use this tool?
- A visible mark discourages people from reposting your photo as their own, or at least keeps your name attached to it.
- Doing a whole shoot at once is much faster than opening each photo in an editor.
- A tiled watermark across the entire frame is harder to crop out than a corner mark.
- Using your brand kit logo and colour keeps marks consistent across everything you publish.
How to use Watermark Image
- Drop one or more images onto the drop zone. You can keep dropping files to add more to the batch.
- Choose Text or Logo. For text, type the wording and pick a Colour; for a logo, drop an image, ideally a PNG with a transparent background.
- Pick a Position: any corner, the centre, or Tiled (diagonal).
- Adjust the size, Opacity and, for a single mark, the Rotation and Padding from edge.
- Check the live preview, which shows the first image. The same settings are applied to every image.
- Press Download, or Download all as zip when there is more than one image.
Features
- Text watermark with colour choice, or a logo image
- Six positions: four corners, centre and a tiled diagonal pattern
- Size from 2 to 40 percent of the image width
- Opacity from 5 to 100 percent
- Rotation from -90 to 90 degrees and an edge padding control for single marks
- Batch processing with the same recipe applied to every image, delivered as one zip
- Brand kit picker to apply a saved logo and colour
Supported formats
Accepts any image your browser can open. Every output is a PNG named with -watermarked at the end, at the original pixel dimensions.
Tips
- Keep opacity around 40 to 60 percent for a mark that is visible but does not ruin the photo.
- White text disappears on a bright image. Pick a darker colour for pale photos, or use a logo with its own colours.
- The preview shows only the first image. If your batch mixes landscape and portrait pictures, check the result of each type.
- Size is a percentage of each image width, so the mark scales with large and small photos alike.
Frequently asked questions
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. The watermark is drawn on a canvas in your browser and your images are not sent to a server.
Can I watermark many images at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like; the same settings are applied to each, and they download together as a zip.
Can I use my logo instead of text?
Yes. Switch to Logo and drop an image. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
What does the Tiled option do?
It repeats the text or logo across the whole picture at a fixed diagonal angle. Rotation and edge padding do not apply in that mode.
Does watermarking reduce image quality?
The picture is redrawn at its original size and saved as a PNG, which is lossless, though the files can be larger than the JPEGs you started with.
Can a watermark be removed?
A faint or corner mark can often be edited out by someone determined. A larger, tiled mark is harder to remove, but no watermark is a guarantee.
Can I try this Pro tool without an account?
Yes. Watermark one photo with a preview up to 640 pixels. Pro adds batches and full-resolution downloads. Your own input is processed locally in your browser.
Will upgrading keep my work?
Checkout and login open in a separate tab. Keep the workspace open to retain inputs, settings and previews. Files stay in that tab only; keep the originals in case you close or reload it. Export access is checked with the server after payment.
Your files are processed directly in your browser and are not uploaded to HubToolify's servers.
