How to use Video Watermark
- Drop a video onto the first drop zone. The file can be up to 150 MB.
- Under "What to burn in", choose Text or Logo image. For Text, type the words, pick a Colour and decide whether to keep the dark halo; for a logo, drop an image (up to 8 MB).
- Under Placement, pick a Corner from the nine positions, then adjust Size, Opacity and Margin. The "Mark width" readout shows the width in pixels.
- Press "Burn in the watermark". The first run downloads the video engine, then the clip is re-encoded.
- Check the result in the preview player and press Download to save the MP4.

Supported formats
Video: MP4, WebM, MOV or MKV up to 150 MB. Logo: any image up to 8 MB. Saves an H.264 MP4 with AAC audio, named with "-watermarked" added to the original name.
Tips
- A PNG with a transparent background looks best; a logo with a white box around it will show that box on the video.
- Leave the dark halo on for white text, since otherwise it disappears over pale footage.
- Keep the mark clear of where Instagram, TikTok or YouTube place their own buttons and captions; a bottom corner can end up covered, so test where it reads.
- The watermark is the same for the whole clip. It does not move, fade or appear only for part of the video.
Frequently asked questions
Are my video and logo uploaded?
No. Both are processed in your browser by ffmpeg running as WebAssembly. The encoder is downloaded once from a public CDN and cached; your files are not part of that request.
Can I use an animated watermark?
No. The mark is a still image or text that stays in place for the whole video.
Why does the text look different from my other fonts?
The text is drawn in a bold system sans-serif font from your browser and cannot be changed. For a specific typeface, make it into an image and use the Logo option.
Is the output the same quality as the original?
The video is re-encoded to H.264 at a constant quality setting (CRF 23), so a small quality change is possible and file size can differ from the original. Audio is re-encoded to AAC at 128 kbps.
Why does it take a while?
The video is encoded in software inside the browser. The tool shows what stage it is on and a progress percentage.
Can the watermark be removed afterwards?
It is burned into the pixels, so it cannot be switched off like a layer. Keep your original file in case you need an unmarked copy.
