Tips
- Check the preview before downloading. The column gap slider fixes nearly everything — raise it if one column has split in two, lower it if two have merged.

Frequently asked questions
Why are my columns wrong?
Column detection works by finding the gaps between vertical lanes of text. A cramped layout needs a smaller gap setting and a generously spaced one a larger. The slider re-runs the conversion live so you can see the effect.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
No, and it will say so. A scan is a picture with no text layer, so there is nothing to read. Use PDF OCR to add one first.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is read in your browser with pdf.js and the spreadsheet is built there too.
