Why use this tool?

  • Scheduling across countries is mostly arithmetic with a few surprises. Daylight saving changes on different dates in different regions, and doing the sums by hand invites mistakes.
  • A time that sounds sensible in your zone can fall at 3 a.m. for someone else. The planner shows that before you send the invitation.
  • You can see which day it is in each zone, which matters when a meeting crosses midnight for one of the attendees.
  • The result can be copied as plain text for an email or downloaded as a CSV of the hours.

How to use Timezone Converter

  1. Set the "Date" and "Time", then choose the zone they are in from "In this time zone". It starts on your own zone and the current time; "Use right now" returns there.
  2. Under "Compare against", choose the zones you want to see. Press "Add a zone" for more, up to eight, or "Remove" to drop one.
  3. In the "One moment" view, read each zone's local time, its UTC offset and its hour difference from the source zone.
  4. Open "Meeting planner" and set working hours with the "Starts at" and "Ends at" sliders. The default is 9:00 to 18:00.
  5. Find the green rows, where every zone is inside working hours. Press "Copy" for the one-moment table, or "Download CSV" to save the planner.

Features

  • Every time zone your browser knows, listed by its standard region name such as Asia/Kolkata
  • Up to eight comparison zones alongside the source zone
  • UTC offset and hour difference for each zone, with daylight saving applied for the date you chose
  • Time zone abbreviation (such as EST or GMT+5:30) beside each local time
  • A 24-hour meeting planner with green cells for working hours, amber for within two hours of them and grey for outside
  • A note stating how many hours suit everyone, and when the first one is
  • Copy as text and download as CSV

Supported formats

Input is a date, a time and a zone name. Output is a table of local times, a planner grid, plain text to copy, and a CSV file.

Tips

  • Choose the date the meeting will actually happen. The offset between two zones can differ in the weeks when only one of them has changed its clocks.
  • If the planner finds no shared hour, widen the working-hours window, or accept an amber hour for the person with the least inconvenience.
  • The planner runs forward from the time you entered, so set the time to the start of the earliest working day that you are considering.
  • Use the region name rather than an abbreviation. "IST" alone could mean India, Ireland or Israel, but Asia/Kolkata is unambiguous.

Frequently asked questions

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Offsets are looked up for the exact date and time you entered, using the time zone data built into your browser, so a summer meeting uses summer offsets.

Why does the first hour of the planner depend on my input?

The grid begins at the moment you entered and steps forward one hour at a time for 24 hours. To look at tomorrow instead, change the date.

How many zones can I compare?

The source zone plus up to eight others. The "Add a zone" button turns off once you reach eight.

What does the Δ column mean?

It is the difference in hours between that zone and the source zone at the chosen moment, for example +5.5h for India compared with UTC.

What happens with a time that does not exist or happens twice on a clock-change night?

The tool settles on a single real moment for the time you typed. For a time inside the skipped hour or the repeated hour, check the result carefully or choose a nearby time.

Is my information stored or sent?

No. The conversion uses your browser's own time zone data and nothing is sent anywhere.

Can I try this Pro tool without an account?

Yes. Convert times and use the meeting planner free. The planner CSV download requires Pro. Your own input is processed locally in your browser.

Will upgrading keep my work?

Checkout and login open in a separate tab. Keep the workspace open to retain inputs, settings and previews. Files stay in that tab only; keep the originals in case you close or reload it. Export access is checked with the server after payment.

Your files are processed directly in your browser and are not uploaded to HubToolify's servers.
