Why use this tool?
- A passer-by, a bin or a cable can spoil an otherwise good photo, and retaking it is often impossible.
- It works on your own photo with no AI model to download first.
- Small blemishes such as dust spots, a date stamp or a stray mark can be removed without opening a full editor.
- You can remove several things in turn and undo a step if one does not look right.
How to use Object Remover
- Drop a photo onto the tool, or click to browse.
- Set the Brush size, then paint over the object. The covered area is shown in red.
- Paint tightly around the object rather than boxing it in; a smaller area is quicker and looks better.
- Press Remove what is painted and wait for the Filling progress to finish.
- Not happy? Press Undo, or Clear the paint to remove the red area before filling. Repeat for anything else you want gone.
- Press Save as PNG. Use Patch size under Result if the fill looks wrong.

- Progress indicator while filling
- Undo for up to four removals, and a Clear the paint button
- Saves the edited photo as a full-size PNG
Supported formats
Accepts any image your browser can open. Saves a PNG with -removed at the end of the file name, at the original pixel size.
Tips
- It works best when the object sits against texture such as grass, sand, sky, water or a plain wall.
- It struggles to invent anything that does not appear elsewhere in the picture, such as the other half of a face.
- Try a smaller Patch size for fine detail and a larger one for big, simple areas, which is also faster. Seven suits most photographs.
- Work in several small strokes and fills instead of one large region, so each fill has plenty of nearby texture to learn from.
Frequently asked questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is decoded, painted on and filled in your browser, and there is no model to download.
How does the fill work?
It rebuilds the painted area from small patches of the surrounding picture using a content-aware method, rather than blurring or guessing.
Why does the result look smeared?
The area may be too large or have no matching texture nearby. Undo, paint a smaller area more tightly, or try a different patch size.
Can I undo a removal?
Yes. Undo restores the photo to before the last fill, and the tool keeps the last four steps.
Can I remove a person from a crowded scene?
Sometimes. If the background behind them is simple, it works well; if they overlap other people or complex structures, the result usually needs touching up elsewhere.
What format is the saved file?
A PNG at the original resolution, so there is no further quality loss from saving.
Can I try this Pro tool without an account?
Yes. Remove objects on a photo preview up to 640 pixels. Pro keeps the full-resolution result and saves it. Your own input is processed locally in your browser.
Will upgrading keep my work?
Checkout and login open in a separate tab. Keep the workspace open to retain inputs, settings and previews. Files stay in that tab only; keep the originals in case you close or reload it. Export access is checked with the server after payment.
