What is Lottie to GIF?
HubToolify's Lottie to GIF turns a Lottie animation into a GIF, the format that plays in email, chat apps, forums and documentation where a Lottie player cannot run. It suits designers and marketers sharing a motion piece and developers putting an animation into a README. Each frame is drawn by lottie-web, the player websites use, so the GIF matches what the Lottie looks like on a page. The longer side can be 240 to 1080 pixels or the original, the frame rate is the file's own up to 30 or a lower 24, 15 or 12, and the background is transparent, white, black or any colour; GIF transparency is on or off per pixel, so soft edges are blended onto that colour. The GIF can loop forever or play once, and the first 30 seconds are converted. Encoding is done by ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, fetched once from a public CDN, and the file is never uploaded. The same tool also makes MP4 and transparent WebM. It is free.
